The park includes man-made wetland, woodlands, swampy woodlands etc. and it is the home of 366 species of birds, 50 species of fish, 379 species of flora, 13 species of snakes, 5 species of lizards, 7 species of turtle, 7 species of amphibian and various types of species of other invertebrates. It is also popular for visiting migratory birds including Siberian Crane and other water birds and is recommended as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
